Wendy’s approach to counseling is client-centered and holistic, with an emphasis on healthy attachments to others. Wendy believes people possess the ability to reach optimum mental health and possess the ability to create their own healing and wholeness. Wendy’s goal is to provide a warm, safe and non-judgmental environment in order to help you find your way on your healing journey. She believes the mind, body, and spirit are intrinsically bound together and feels that if we look at ourselves from a perspective of compassion, we can use this knowledge, with the help of mind/body techniques, to move toward healing and whole health.

Wendy holds a Master of Science in Counseling from OSU Cascades, with honors from Phi Kappa Phi. Wendy’s current scope of practice includes working with trauma, couples, adolescents, and post partum depression/anxiety. Wendy has experience working with PTSD, domestic violence, sexual abuse, addictions, self-esteem, anxiety, and depression. Wendy believes in creative and integrative approaches in working with her clients, as she understands that every person is unique and deserves a customized approach to reaching wellness.
